Dear Neighbors,
In the next few weeks you will be receiving your invoice for year 2010 homeowner's dues. In light of the economic situation, lower home values and rising taxes in Orange Township and Delaware County, the Board unanimously decided to reduce the yearly homeowner's association dues for 2010 to $200 per year. This is a decrease of $40 from last year.
Again this year Northpoint Meadows is having an outdoor holiday decorating contest. Judging of the lighting displays will take place on December 20.
- First Place Winner $50
- Second Place Winner $30
- Third Place Winner $20
The Board Members are not eligible to participate in the contest. Your home will be judged on symmetry, number of lights, creativity, neatness and overall appearance.
The board would like to thank Colette and Michel Chamberland for starting and running the Northpoint Meadows website . This will save the Homeowners Association not only the cost of the startup, and server costs but will help reduce mailing expenses moving forward. When you get a chance please visit our website. The Board will be checking the site frequently for comments, suggestions and ideas. In order to keep mailing costs down. All newsletters going forward might possibly be posted on the website.
The board has come to an agreement with Orange Township Trustees on the walking/bike trail and hopes to have the contract signed within the next couple of months. The Board is pursuing a final punch list of items with Marond that still needs to be addressed, prior to their departure in early 2010.
The election process for Treasurer is coming up for renewal in 2010, if you wish to place a nominatino for Treasurer, please submit your canidates name on the form provided and send it to SBS Management by January 15, 2010.
The Annual Homeowners Association Meeting will be held tentatively on March 22, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at the Orange Township Building in the Thompson Room.
